What makes a perfume long lasting?
Two things decide how long a perfume lasts: its concentration and its ingredients. An Eau de Parfum (EDP) contains more perfume oil — typically around 15–20% — than an Eau de Toilette, so it lasts longer and develops more slowly. Ingredients matter too: light citrus top notes fade within the first hour, while base notes such as oud, amber, sandalwood, vetiver, musk and vanilla can stay on the skin for many hours. How many hours does an Eau de Parfum last?
It depends on the formula, your skin and the weather, so we don't promise a fixed number of hours. Rich EDPs generally last much longer than lighter Eau de Toilettes.
